Omar Artigas was selected as Road Ranger of the Month for his exemplary performance during July 2012.
With about five years of experience, he is a Road Ranger veteran. He has covered both State Road 826 (Palmetto Expressway) and Interstate 95 (I-95) as both a tow truck operator and flatbed operator. He likes being a Road Ranger because his daily activities include helping stranded motorists on South Florida’s roadways. “It feels good to be a life saver,” he said. It feels even better when he knows he is simultaneously helping keep a roadway clear and uncongested. His coworkers commend him for his professional attitude and calm, friendly demeanor, which helps motorists feel safe around him.
Please join us in congratulating Mr. Artigas for his hard work and dedication to professionalism, which have been imperative in optimizing the effectiveness of FDOT’s Road Ranger Service Patrol program.
