FDOT District Six TSM&O Office Unveils New Report Format
The Florida Department of Transportation District Six Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSM&O) Office has launched a new report format that highlights more relevant metrics to better communicate its benefits to the public.
The Department began using the new format in Fiscal Year 2019/2020 with its TSM&O Summary Report. It highlights program statistics in a dashboard-style that shows a wide range of data, from Road Ranger responses, total number of messages posted on dynamic message signs (DMS) and arterial traffic management activity. The goal is to showcase the different services and how they work together to promote the safety and mobility of our regional transportation network. The report also displays the office’s new visual identity.
Communicating program outcomes through detailed yet user-friendly reporting is a critical component of the TSM&O office’s outreach strategy. Through this data, the public can see and understand the value these services provide through effective transportation management.
