FDOT District Six to Host Joint Miami-Dade/Broward TIM Meeting

The Florida Department of Transportation’s District Six and District Four Traffic Incident Management (TIM) Teams will hold its bi-annual joint meeting Wednesday, October 12 at the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue Training Center Building in Doral, Florida.

The purpose of this meeting is to serve as a forum for TIM partner agencies to highlight and discuss on-going initiatives, activities and events that are affecting or will affect state roadways in the southeast Florida area. Additionally, meetings like these provide partners with an opportunity to voice concerns and raise questions regarding Department-related projects.

The goal of the joint meetings is to promote communication between regional incident management agencies and improve coordination between all members to ensure roadway incidents are cleared quickly and safely with the most up-to-date strategies.
