TMC Hosts Tour for the Gold Coast Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers

The Florida Department of Transportation District Six Office hosted a tour of the SunGuide Transportation Management Center for the Gold Coast Chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers.

 

The tour was held on February 26 and was hosted by Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) Office. The presentation focused on the agency’s Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSM&O) efforts in the District. It highlighted adaptive signal control, arterial ITS corridors and active work zone management projects and showcased the multi-agency coordination required to implement these in our community. The presentation was followed by a tour of the SunGuide Transportation Management Center.
