FDOT District Six won the 2009 John W. Barr award for successfully executing the 95 Express project: Florida’s first-ever High Occupancy Toll (HOT) lanes project. The Florida Section Institute of Transportation Engineers (FSITE) presented the award to District Six in June 2010.
