April 2020 – Jose Vilar

The District Six Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSM&O) Office is proud to announce that Jose Vilar is the Road Ranger of the Month for April 2020.

 

Mr. Vilar has been a District Six Road Ranger for four years and patrols the roadways in an Incident Management Vehicle during the afternoon shift. He was selected for his great customer service and teamwork with fellow Road Rangers and first responders. 

 

In 2017, Mr. Vilar was one of eight Road Rangers who were deployed in the Florida Keys assisting residents of Monroe County with their disabled vehicles on US-1 and Card Sound Road after the landfall of Hurricane Irma.
