The SunGuide Transportation Management Center (TMC) serves as the regional command center for the ITS program within Miami-Dade and Monroe counties. The two-story, 32,000 sq. ft. facility houses FDOT operations staff to monitor traffic using the cameras and detectors located along the roadways. They also oversee the District’s traffic management, incident management and traveler information services provided to the public on a daily basis.
