Diana Iglesias Promoted to FMS/AMS Specialist IV
FDOT District Six is happy to announce the promotion of Diana Iglesias to the position of FMS/AMS Specialist IV. Diana joined the Transportation Systems Management and Operations (TMS&O) office in February 2024 and has established herself as a key member of the team by taking on numerous responsibilities that have contributed significantly to the office’s operations.
Diana’s work has included overseeing the TSM&O Program Inventory as Unit Custodian and managing property transfers through the Property Management Report System (PMRS). She worked closely with the Financial Services and Construction offices to coordinate inventory management and surplus-related tasks, ensuring efficiency in the department’s processes. Diana led the creation of an internal inventory and surplus guideline document while taking over the management of two Professional Services contracts. Her involvement in our ITS Maintenance Contract improved the procurement of storage solutions for ITS equipment at the South Dade Yard.
In addition to her growing responsibilities, Diana has been committed to expanding her professional qualifications. In March 2024, she obtained her Advanced Maintenance of Traffic certification followed by her Florida Certified Contract Manager certification in April. Most recently, she earned her Engineering Intern license in August showing her dedication to continued learning and professional development. These certifications will support her in taking on new challenges in her role.
The District Six TSM&O Office is proud of Diana’s accomplishments and looks forward to continuing to work with her in this new role. Her leadership, initiative, and commitment to the department’s success make her a valuable asset and the office is excited to see her continue to excel in this new position.
