THE FDOT DISTRICT SIX TRAFFIC INCIDENT MANAGEMENT (TIM) TEAM WORKS WITH ITS REGIONAL PARTNERS TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND EFFICIENT MULTI-AGENCY RESPONSE APPROACH TO TRAFFIC INCIDENT CLEARANCE

The Traffic Incident Management (TIM) is a national initiative that promotes a multi-disciplinary process to detect and clear roadway incidents to reduce their impact and improve safety for motorists and responders.

District Six has two TIM Teams; the Miami-Dade County TIM Team and the Monroe County TIM Team. Both team works with its corresponding partners to optimize incident management procedures in their respective areas. They review current procedures to identify areas of improvement and work together to implement these initiatives on the field.
